This Month in Science #10

What I DID - Summarizes the major learning experiences and topics from the week. May include ideas and experiences not documented in the notebook.

The first thing we did this mouth in science was choose a subject of the earths enviroment water, waste, transportation and energy. I was in energy. We had to pair up and survey people in the public.

What I LEARNED - Describes the major ideas examined over the course of the week. Includes my thoughts about what I am still unsure about. May also include things I notice, connections I made, questions I have, “aha” moments and other unintended discoveries.

A PICTURE that helps me to tell the story of my month in science class

one thing i did this week in science is how to diesect a frog. we cut it open from the middle and opened it. we took pictures of the frogs lungs, heart, and intestence. before we cut the frog we took pics of each side of the frog

Friday, February 3, 2012

What i did was cut the  krey fish in half using these special tools specificlly for cutting flesh. Before that we took pictures of the dorsal view and ventral view. The distal part of the crey fish is where his hands and tail are at. They reach the farthest. One of its features is having a hard shell, sharp claws, long tentacles, and 4 legs on each side.

This Week In Science #7

What I DID was make a presentation of the Rainforest. We all had something to study we did the climate, landforms, vegetation and location. I worked on vegetation and we also had to choose and animal from the rainforest and talk about its preys and preditor. Then we make a new animal a nonexisting one and made information about that

What I LEARNED: What I learned was how crickets live there, body parts and how they act with eachother. One thing i noticed about them was that they have ears on there knees and whistle threw there
